If you are a designer label sucker cum computer geek, you should have seen it. That Giorgio Armani's interview with Candy Pratt Price of Style.com in Second Life that aired this 28 September 2007. If you are not and have not, click here.

How many of you people actually play Second Life? Personally, we have tried our hands on that but soon grew too tired of pole dancing trying to earn a few Lindens (that's their currency). Also, too many perverts. Other than that, its quite nice. Met a few friends there which we are extremely grateful to.

Fashion is turning more and more Internet-dependent, which is technically a good thing for us here in Malaysia - for we lack the fashion coverage!

We heard from Susie Bubble of Style Bubble screaming about her new craze - StyleShake where you can design your own dress virtually and have it delivered at your doorstep in a matter of days! That, my friend, must be one of our favourite business ideas ever. Period.

Also, anyone heard about the Internet Fashion Week that is coming in 2008? Oh, yay!

Kate Moss for Prince's Trust

Last night, Kate Moss dazzled in her shimmering silk flapper dress she designed with TopShop at the Fashion Rocks. Today, Moss is reportedly going to auction off that dress on eBay for the benefits of the Prince's Trust (a charity). That dress is worth £40,000 and is embroidered with 60,000 crystal beads.

Kate said, “When I was invited to create a dress to wear at Swarovski Fashion Rocks this 1920s flapper style immediately came to mind. The period has been a major inspiration for my autumn/winter designs for TopShop and just felt perfect… I’m honoured to have the opportunity to raise funds for the Prince’s Trust as it’s a great cause. Plus, I get to wear my own amazing couture dress, even if it’s just for the night.”

No doubt the hosieries are here to stay, regardless of where you are from - East or West. Couture In the City did some fantastic work on what to wear your hosieries with; may it be edgy, trendy or classy. (We personally love the Hillary look. Little Duff's grown up so much!)

We were so intrigued to try the looks that Couture In the City advised that we dug through our closet to find ours. And there we go (over to ShopBop.com), hunting for various nice looking shoes to match them.

Pink Rock Candy is doing it. So is Glam and Tonic. Everyone's talking about their favourite tees and where to get them. So we thought we'd follow the norm and hunted (nose first!) into all the potential tees shop that might make us fall head over heels.

We've just got news from Fashionista.com that Lily Cole is taking her debut in the land of films! This is interesting. Although we're not huge fans of Lily C (she's the same age as us but there she is earning millions, walking down the runway while we are here typing an entry about her earning through our Adsense - Boohoo! Yes, we're jealous bitches. Besides, we love Aggyness better), we must applaud her achievements.

Oh, and the title of this post is the title of the movie. Somewhere in the lines of clowns and strange creatures... we think.

We doubt seeing it going big. Hmph.

When we first stumbled upon Marc Jacobs overly gorgeous heels that we thought will one day rule over the world and make ordinary pumps extinct, we fell straight in love. We worshiped Marc for his brilliance and creativity.

But what if MJ's a rip off? What if somewhere out there, in the Land of the Rising Sun (ahemJapanahem) someone were the original creators of such fantastic products but have failed to get the attention they needed until some big shot like Marc took their idea and blasted it out loud and lapped up all the praises he didn't deserve?

Well, that someone was Junko Shimada.

Its a Love Affair

Sorry about missing a post on the 6th. Had our second anniversary with the boyfriend, so its excusable right. Talking about anniversary, the first thing that probably creep into your brains would be candlelit dinner down in the coziest restaurant tucked somewhere away from town. Well, we'll just keep how we celebrated it a secret, its not THAT interesting anyways. Instead, we'll take a look at a trend on party dresses, seductive, sweet and sexy enough to make the boyfriends go weak in their knees.

Allegra Hicks has a few options for dresses but we didn't think they were very appropriate, only a handful. Of all, our favourite would be her black baby doll halter neck dress with cute leaf prints on the hemlines. We think its chic and yet, adorable~

We looked at Michael Kors' Spring 2008 Collection and we loved his pink dresses. Not many of them are in pink, mind you. But the collective few sends a sweet and naive vibe all down our spines. We have to stop and say "Awwwhh". One captured our heart:

The next is our favourite among the lot. Or maybe because its on one of our favourite models - Jessica Stam. Its a piece from Peter Som:

Save the Last Valentino

We know it is kind of late, but it is official. Valentino, the elegant king of couture (Besides Uncle Karl, of course) who has robed celebrities, royalties and goddesses alike has decided that he wants to retire in 2008 and spend the rest of his life, well, spending.

The future of Valentino (the company) is yet to be known. Oh, well, we bet he'll come back, making more lovely garments to clothe us because he's going to miss us so so badly.

We shall all have a moment of silence.

Anyways, Valentino began his so-called "goodbye tour" over there in Paris. One thing that we could say about this collection is simply: milky. We don't know why. Perhaps its the colour palette he chooses. So so milky. Valentino kept it demure yet sexy. Contrary to Gaultier's work we reviewed yesterday, Valentino puts nothing that may overwhelm his clothings and drown the focus.

There is something about the models as well. They walked the runway as if they were going to cry. Well, not all of them. Some looked pleased that they can flaunt their size zero in Valentino's last pieces of art. Bitches.

We need a coat. Period. So we decided to browse through Zara.com for some options and headed down to the nearby boutique for a hunt. Obviously, we are Zara diehard fans. Why? Because Zara gives us what we REALLY want - from looking professional to downright playful. Oh, yes. Oh, yes.

Jean Paul Gaultier 2008 Review

Okay, for today, we'll be going through Jean Paul Gaultier. Please turn to page 165 of your text.

When we first saw this collection on Style.com we thought to ourselves, "Hell, the models looked like walking corpses! Those that died in sea due to a terrible breakout of STD or aneroxia" But of course, we were wrong! For the theme of the show were something in line with pirates ala military style, imagine Jack Sparrow in pumps.

There were layers upon layers of fabric, all in absurd colours and prints. Firstly, they were in worn out camouflaged earth tones, then came the bolder colours and into more feminine hues such as purple and turquoise.

We personally love the idea of his black non-symmetrical tutu. The bustier, gloves and hat are the icing on the cake.

Honestly, we have to give it to Jean Paul for all providing with the accessories that we adore more than the clothes. The umbrella, the hats, the money bag hanging on the hips, the leather belts and boots, they really add on to the show don't they?

Jean Paul Gaultier saved the best for last (or at least we think its the best) The brides of Jack Sparrow strutted their way down the aisle in what it looks to us like thick hems of laces, holding a cig bud and some fresh white flowers.

Christian Dior Spring2008 Review

When the fashion world gets a little hype, who can bless them all with quirks other than John Galliano? Seriously, that man can pull pieces together that is way beyond our imaginations. His Ready-to-Wears are not exactly wearable. More likely just to be adorned from the front seats of the fashion show or to be drooled over by peasants on Style.com. Yet, however, we give our hats off to Galliano for his unique sense of style.

This season, JG (Our pet name of affection, shall we?) turned his extraordinary radar down ... almost three notches. All we can say for this collection is we L O V E it! The uber classic 1930s men style for the ladies. This includes trench coats, pinstriped tailored trousers, fedora hats and blazers, in black and white - to capture the old-fashioned movie epic.

Don't go yawning yet, my dear fashionistas. JG isn't going to fail you with such boring details. Introducing adorably cute tea party dresses adorned with chunky ornates, worn on the shoulders, hips or hair. We noted that those dresses are in our favourite blue hue, makes it all the better!

Then came the other party girl. No longer the sugar-coated innocent girl but the olden Pussycat Doll, when furs and diamonds are a girl's best friend (they still are, actually). We love how JG managed to capture Marlene Dietrich and Marilyn Monroe in his designs. So flirtatious and sexy. Our personal favourite from this batch would be the fur collar coat draped over a brown dress with fancy details at the hems.

It slowly brings us to the leopard batch where that symbol of older days lux were imprinted on coats and hats. Of course, it has to be just the fabric. Not the real deal, otherwise picket fences will start parading in JG's next fashion show ... Right?

The show ended slowly with the elegance of the 1930s femme of long gowns and lingerie look-alike dresses. Silk, "newspaper boy" caps, fedoras and the use of another fur coat accessorized those lovelies for their best.

So there you have it. A review of Christian Dior's Spring 2008 Collection, masterminded by John Galliano.

Bag to School

Fortunately, from the new Style.com SEARCH feature, we were able to access to the various kinds of trends, categorized by dates and designers. Since its the beginning of school period, we took the initiative to hunt down school bags (translated into big, chunky bags) to flaunt! And maybe those could be for corporate usage too! Anyhow... ...

First stop. The Luella Spring 2007 collection! It is so down to earth, we are ready to bow down to it. Barlett's bags, complementing the modish black and white series, is armed with charms and are in bright hues. Suitable for us colleges fashionista. Our favourite would be the one that model Anouck Lepere is holding; shiny bold pink with one single solitary chunky charm! We apologize if this is not the best picture for this bag but even the side view makes you weak in the knees, no?

Of course, Bagsnob.com is another stop for the ultimate "IT" Bags. There, we found a gray MiuMiu's Ostrich Vitella bag! We have to agree with Bagsnob. The youthfulness of this bag could be handed down in the shape and that piece of gold, resting in the midst of gray! How lovely! One tip's for sure: gray is the NEW Black this season!

Another similar Anya Hindmarch piece would be its Carker bowling bag - shining black in colour with signature buckle fastening pouch pocket on the front. Available on Net-a-Porter.com for $995.00! We really dig the buckle which is patented with an adorable bow. The strap's (unlike the MiuMiu's above) is detachable - meaning, it could be carried about for all occasions! When its time for school, hook it on! It would be really gorgeous to hang this precious on your favourite (any colour will do; for black goes well even with all colours under the sun!) trench coat and some Mary Janes! (; Strut in style, sister. We promise you, heads will turn!

H Fredriksson

Once upon a time, we were happilly bouncing of some of our favourite blogs when time stops for a little while and our heart fluttered a bit. What do we have here? H.Fredriksson, Fashionista.com says. Brooklyn based HOME SCHOOLED designer. Oh, interesting! Let us see his works. Clickety-click and it was couture orgasm for the first time.

Fredriksson’s work of art (Fall 2007 Collection) broke all boundaries. Electric blue stockings and orange based outfit, how often designers dare to explore that unsafe area. Okay, maybe quite a number. But none has made them look this good, right? Seriously, sometimes designs can turn out utterly unmentionable.

Our personal favorite would be that turtleneck black and orange frock, blue stockings (hmm-mm) and knee high boots. But looking at it closely, we came upon a shy realization that hell, no. They aren’t knee high boots but knee high stockings with mary janes. OH! How brilliant! Although we must warn our beloved readers that if you do not have skinny legs like their models, double stockings may add a gigazillion pounds to your thighs. And that checked cropped jacket is to die for!

Curiousity is a blessing in disguise, isn’t it?

BCBG Max Azria

Who says no to the Azrias must be shot in the head.

Spring 2008 Ready to Wear depicts feminism just the way it should be - soft, demure and sensual. Themed with sheer fabrics, all of which are within the neutral palette of colours. The contra between what that was in the previous collection and this is extravagant - it was much darker back then, but now Lubov Azria is putting a little light into his creations. Or so, that’s what he told Style.com after his show. But we have to say, don’t stare into the light for long, you might just go fashionably blind.

The Azrias allow their most of their dresses to flow beneath the knee, clutched at the waist to embrace the sexiness. However, there were a handful of them that broke the monotony. Kept its length to be long enough to cover it all, yet short enough to be interesting. Those are the ones that turn our knees into jelly! Its so youthful, we can dance in the rain with it!

We also noted that the Azrias has complemented their frocks with multi-tiered belts which are tied with knots. Not exactly a trend started, in this case but yes, its a lovely touch. Bravo once again, Azria! (:
